you managed to win over just about everyone, its seems.. including a pack of sweaty ladies in short shorts. although just who won who over is not so clear..;)

Australia is a more realistic place than Hawaii...but it's still a paradise of some sort. |

The shows have been all very solid as far as I know. I organised the tour with Mark from Stealth Magazine.
Sydney show - 250-300 ppl. Excellent for a Monday night.
Newcastle/Sound Summit - 450-500 ppl.
The other shows, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne were onsold so I'm not sure of the exact figures but Adelaide certainly did very well as to be expected.
There is definitely a strong audience here for left-of-centre hip hop if it is priced right. Dose, Sole and Jel drew similar crowds last year, and I know a Slug & Dibbs tour is coming up very soon.
Most of these shows were only AUS$10 door charge. (US$5). If it is priced right then people will come. |
