Here's the exclusive info as it stands so far for the Swarthmore show, October 25th at the Olde Club...
Philly's own DJ Cabell will open with his unique blend of underground hiphop and turntablism. Then the fun continues with a performance by the Parts of Speech Crew....(DOSE...you gotta freestyle with Sage.....some call and response/back and forth!!!) If you were at Scribble, you would know who Dose is. In my opinion, Dose Noun ATE mac lethal in the second round, i mean...he fell off and then ended early with fewer punchlines.......
Back to the Swat show.....Sage will then perform which will truely be a treat with the sound system and intimate setting of the olde club. Peanut Butter Wolf, Egon, and Madlib just played there on Wednesday (check the stones throw message board, the thread entitled: 2002 ballz to tha wallz tour <http://www.stonesthrow.com/messageboard/index.html> ) Very Dope Performance!!!!
Props to Swarthmore for booking good hiphop! See ya'll there next month!
