Who else went? The emcee workshop with Sage / Quro / Ozi Batla was awesome. I was just wondering... what was the spoken word piece that Sage performed? Also, the femcees that performed while Sage beat boxed rawked!

Australia has been great so far.
For any reasons.
I will probably write out a short essay on my trip...hopefully....probably....hopefully.

the piece you are asking about was probably Narcissist.

Team Plastique rocked my world

No, I'm quite familiar with narcissist.

It was a spoken word just after you, quro, and ozi batla freestyled... It had the line "Life's not a bitch, she's just sick of being personified".

OH....those were some verses off of the new Non-Prophets album which is in the works.

I freestyled for a bit on the radio today. Did anyone catch it?

I managed, out of absolute coincidence, to catch 'Dear Bobby' and the interview and caught it on tape... it was insane.

I think people underestimate the goodness of a well performed acapella...

Hey Sage - you should think about recognising taditional Indigenous ownership of country before you perform. Find out whose lands you are performing on and say something along the lines of 'I'd like to recognise that we are performing on the Traditional lands of the [insert nation here]'

So when your in Melbourne at the Revolver show, you could say "I'd like to recognise that we are performing on the traditional lands of the Kulin Nations."

Just an idea....

Am really looking forward to Saturday...

peace

Damnzelle,
YOU...!

hahaaaaa...

seriously, you were rocking shit with the jump rope. I didn't mean to offend by saying the team couldn't jump rope well...but I thought it was all about the "You don't have to be dope to rope" philosophy.

I've been reading up and that's what it says in the manual, mum.

you were awesome though. my favorite in fact.
:-)

this body should never step close to rope again. Those pictures are funny as all hell...I want to use the close up with the novelty check on the front page of this site.

thanks for the mamories

ah yes!
I've always wanted Sage to call me mum! And you did it the aussie way too mate. Fast learner. Can you say aluminium?

Too right. You dont' have to be dope to rope. That's why we let you jump! Nah, it's all good. You said we made you "uncharacteristically cheery" or something to that effect. That's props enough for the League.

Eat your greens,

Damnzelle
