Good to know that there are some thinkers here on this forum....

WantedSpice. I agree that Sage is hot. He's hot in many ways. If I was ever to kiss hiss ass I would do it the proper way. Face to face, ass to lips, 1on1. Know what I mean........

Dorka...whatever. Its nice to know that there is a person like you here to correct us if we start to express ourselves without going to the library to look it up first.

I agree also to that guy that was thinkin about if the lifestory makes us appreciate music better. I knew nothing about Sage untill I saw this forum and read his story but still I've had Personal Journals in my sterio non stop for 2 months. I have even gone so far as to put it in the stereo where I work so that people are enjoying his music without choice :) Now 2 of my collegues have bought the CD......

ouch. all this negative energy coming at me from different sides.

Maggy, relax, i don't hold it against you that you have a limited vocabulary and cannot express yourself as eloquently as i. cheer up. schooling can help you.

yes, i still feel quite clever. sage are you mad because i didn't say you were HOTTTT?

It's pretty clear what's bugging Dorkosaurus......

I don't care if his ocean isn't the deepest and you shouldn't throw that in a guy's face........

Isn't asking if a bio enhances the experience of an artist's work kind of like asking if putting a mirror on the ceiling above the bed heightens the sexual experience?

Dorkasaurus,
all jokes aside....I am not mad, upset or frustrated with you. Your name makes me think you are a 14 yr old girl (even if you're not.)
And that....to me...is hot.

serious.

stay up late.

I knew about sage francis before I ever heard about his music because he was hanging with some of my friends when he was playing somewhere cold (you know where). When I first heard his music I thought it was cool, but I didn't realy listen. I didnt actually get personal journals until I stumbled upon some interview on the net and he struck me as an amusingly different character, that might have something to say that was worthwhile listening to. I bought the album like a couple of days later, and the first time I listened to it, I didn't like it at all...put it to one side for a couple of days. I started listening to it in my car to and from work, and it started to grow on me. I've found myself not being able to take it out of my cd player, and I drive a lot slower now, "just to catch the rest of this one and some of the next one" before I get home. This album scares the shit out of me because I drive a lot, and when I put it on I drift into deep thought and almost switch off. It makes me wanna get creative, it makes me wanna get into a corner and sit there alone in the dark for the rest of eternity. It's like watching a mind opening film, that makes you feel strangely at peace once it's finished, except the quotes stay with me for longer. I find myself slipping quotes from sage into my graff.
For me, this album could have been acapella and still work as well.

I dunno, I'm not one to kiss ass and I'm not trying to, but listening to this album makes me think and feel in ways I never have before, it takes me away from all the shit in my life/the world at the moment and lets me focus on what's really important.

Wanted spice: very good point, but isn't it more like watching the evidence of your girlfriends previous porn career and thinking about it while you're sleeping with her? Would it be better or worse? Do you like her more when you know about her past, or when she's just the pretty girl with big tits?

I dunno, I think too much and I don't convert it into writing very well.

aha. further proof that you're out to corrupt america's youth. i wonder if i should alert the authorities.....

and though it hurts my heart that you would criticize my so carefully chosen name, i will not lash out. for i happen to know that there are quite a few others that are just as lame, yet out of kindness i shall not reveal them. after all, what's in a name?
