Base Wars was ill.

Rygar was probably one of my favorites...I liked Blaster Master too.

The Dragon Warrior series was a fav too...the first Final Fantasy also blew me away (the newer ones pale in comparison, in my opinion).

Peace,
Shane

Strange you mention this one...I picked it up for 35 cents a month or so ago, and I've been loving it. I don't see what it has to do with McDonald's or Virgin, though.

Think Super Mario Bros 3 meets Mr. Do's! Castle.

seriously, i considered picking up an old nintendo if i could ever find that game. i love when you can go upside down...

Wow...that was wierd. Look at the times on our post.

And I'm 15 minutes away from you right now if you're in Worcester...I work in Shrewsbury. Did we go over this before and I forgot? Heh.

Yeah, I beat it. Don't ask me to remember anything about it though. Haha.

Peace,
Shane

I love that thing

Ive had mine for eleven years and it works fine.
I find the best way of getting the cartridges to work is to not put them in all the way then push down on them until they slam down into the machine then push them to right a little bit.

Its been like 9 years and still have yet to beat metroid.

thgat's the first and last video game system I have ever had.

and it holds a special place in my heart.

But I never understood why they designed it in a way that made it IMPOSSIBLE to get a cartridge SECURE into the slot. It was so fucking faulty. And it resulted in MANY personality disorders. I'm sure of it.

we all had our "tricks" to make the shit work, but damn....even atari was more efficient in that respect.

I know all the tricks of the trade. Blow into the game, tap the system, etc. I still use those tricks to this day.

lets talk about obscure games and see who shares the same WEIRD memories.

3D World Runner. I am a master at this game...and I am the only one I know who owned it. The last round turnes close to impossible, but I had the science down.

Dr Chaos. This game was just fucking weird. Scary. It took me a while to beat.

oooh yea...  Reply with quote

if you still got trouble getting your games to load properly all you need to do is clean them with alcohol and then put the game in and secure it with pieces of cardboard. if you ever had an 8-track player then you know what i'm talking about.

you gotta give props to 'bubble bobble' and 'bad dudes'.

good times,
adam from pensacola

Ayo, did anybody else play Snake Rattle 'n' Roll? Probably my favorite game for NES. It was made by the cats who went on to do Conker's Bad Fur Day (also incredibly dope).
