worst movies I have seen:

Battlefield Earth: Just horrible, and the aliens are just tall humans with dreads

Desert Heat: with Jean Claude Van Damme, far worse than any van damme movie you have seen. The fucking song they sing is the worst thing I have ever heard and I wish I could reproduce it here

Gidget: movie for short girls, ugh

Dark Space (or something like that) this old shitty sci fi movie where the alien is LITERALLY a beach ball with spots. That sounds like it might be good in a "bad movie" way, but its not.

Yes. That is the worst movie ever made, as voted on by a panel of college art majors..... or something like that.

All of Ed Wood's movies are horribly made, but there's a redeeming quality to watching them.. they're not that bad.

Ironically, the movie "Ed Wood", with Johnny Depp, is a great flick.

Personally, I think "Tremors 2" is the worst movie I've ever sat through..

"Black and White" starring Brooke Shields & Robert Downey Jr.
One of the worst I have ever witnessed.

"Green Mile" sucked pretty hard.

"Dirty Dancing", "Grease", "Matrix" & "Titanic" might be worst of all though.

First off Chevy Chase is an unbelievably bad comedian, but Caddysack is a pretty sweet movie that not even he could turn to shit.

Second, Lea Thompson had a sitcom after Howard the Duck, not before.

And the worst movie ever made is without question 'Steel magnolias waiting to exhale now and then' Even if you a very depressed black southern widow on her period, living with her divorcee' daughter, and her 2 unruly kids, you know this is the worst sack of crap in the world

Peace

"caroline in the city" is considered the "howard the duck" of sitcoms.

every second film based on something stephen king has written seems to redefine badness. there have been a few exceptions i know but, if anyones ever seen "the langoliers" with that guy from quantum leap then you know how bad films can get.

keanu reeves also has an uncanny knack of sapping me of the will to live.
name me one good film he's been in. the man couldn't fucking act if you stabbed him and said "pretend your bleeding to death"
the matrix was a 90 minute music video and don't even get me started on bill and ted.

star wars also pisses me off. all of them. wasted my fucking time with phantom menace a while ago and was quickly reminded how far george lucas' head is up his own arse. the fact natalie portman was in it just pissed me off further.

i also seen a movie called "death train" or something once.
seriously, this film was akin to waking up and realising you've shit the bed.
the horror, the horror!

also anything with emilio "straight to video" estevez in a starring role is likely to reek of shit and poor planning.

I don't think any of those films really qualify as the worst ones of all time.

I think the movie "Dude, Wheres my Car," is horrible.....quite possibly the worst.

And dont front on the Chevy Chase movies. Christmas, and summer vacation movies are funny as hell. I even think Vegas vacation is funny.

Why did I sleep on this thread?  Reply with quote

I am not tootling my own horn to say that I am eminently qualified to answer this question. I have written articles and reviews for bad movies for such publications as "Psychotronic" and "Le Bad Cinema" and I have been raised purposely watching terrible movies, as my parents are bad movie buffs from when many of these bad movies were in the theatre.

That being said, the worst movie I have ever seen was The Beast of Yucca Flats, starring Swedish wrestler Tor Johnson, of Plan 9 From Outer Space fame. Tor plays a defecting Russian(?) scientist hunted by the KGB that gets caught in a atomic test which turns him into a beast--by adding a kind of scaly scab to his cheek, mainly. Meanwhile, a killer roams the town killing co-eds which apparently has nothing to do with the main plot. Most notable about this film is that the original sound was rendered almost useless by incompetence and so most of it is narrated over shots of peoples' shoes and long shots of people exiting buildings. Don't miss the scene where a 400+ lb. Tor runs across Yucca Flats, with predictable Big Pun-esque results.
