I definitely believe in conserving.

But I am also a huge fan of liberation.

Damn, it's hard to pick.

I am neither.

The titles Conservative and Liberal are based on established political norms. If you reject government, you reject these labels - therefore, since I never CHOSE a government to represent me (not that I'm represented within the current government either...) I am neither conservative NOR liberal.

Some of my views, such as those on firearms, fall into a more "conservative" realm. Other views are more "liberal" in nature, but if I was asked to define myself as one or the other...

...I wouldn't. ;-)

As an example...I believe that guns are not to be regulated as heavily as they are (it hinders citizens with simple drug offenses such as marijuana possession and/or underage drinking from getting handguns to protect themselves), and I feel that a woman's body should not be regulated in much the same way...as a safeguard for humanity...giving us the "out" of not having children that the planet cannot afford to bear.

I'm a clusterfuck of ideas. Not all of which are sorted out yet. I would think most of the people here won't fall into one category or the other very easily.

Reform party. I think that's who's trying to get Nader this year since the Greens are too busy sniffling about Dean. Heh.

purely based on literal meanings

I'm socially liberal and economically socialist.

Both somewhat moderately, I think.

I'm only a conservative when it comes to hip hop.

bah, i hate adhering to one side....if you're asking what party i support (in canada) at the moment, i'd have to say the conservatives, as they're more reformist/liberal than the liberal party is (the liberal party's been in power so long it's become the norm).

as far as ideology goes i'm definitely what you'd call liberal minded, aka open minded ;p

I reject the notion that economics should be what guides the way we structure our society... hence I'm neither liberal, conservative or socialist. I'm a humanist. I dunno if he's been translated, but I'm very inspired by a Dane called Poul Bjerre and used to have dealings with the ATTAC movement.

I vote socialist-liberal (considered centre-leaning over here) at most elections, sometimes plain socialist, but I don't really agree with most of the basis for their conclusions... From what I know of American politics, I wouldn't be represented at all by any of the two major parties.
