Vincent "Buddy" Cianci Jr. 5 year sentence  Reply with quote  

i was just reading the news on the internet and i seen this article about Cianci (mayor of providence) getting a 5 year sentence for corruption...any thought on this Sage or anyone else?

If you didn't know, its not his first time as a felon. When he was mayor for the first time he beatdown a guy with a log and burned him with a cigar for banging his then wife.

there is a similar case from youngstown, ohio, where congressman jim trafficant was just sentenced to jail for corruption related crimes. from what i have read of this buddy cianci he was very similar to trafficant in the fact that they were _very_ good politicians for their constituents but just had their hands in too many cookie jars. which is a shame, because all politicians are "bribed" only its not illegal when its a corporation or a lobbyist group giving them the money.

I read somewhere that a federal court decided that if you were a professional truck driver, you were subject to a harsher penalty (in years) if you commit vehicular homicide. The idea is that he should KNOW better.

Apply the same ethic to the Providence Police, Sacramento...
