oddly enough, it is recently.

name changes were EXTREMELY uncommon for a long time... but in the last month it seems that everyone is doing it.

i did for 'freshman psyche' reasons. haha

people had seen that hgh name so long, on so many occasions... that they were starting to think of it as too real i think. people were actually holding grudges and shit... against a fuckin message board thing. wtf?!!! nobody was any longer able to take ANY of 'hghs' posts as just an individual post. no matter what was said it was just 'another hgh post'... they got offended at shit that wouldnt offend mother teresa, just because of the authors name.

sad indeed.

i needed a change... some cats were still shallow and carried it over.
if you dont believe the connection of the grudge and the 'hgh' title... just read over some threads. i STILL get called hgh. wtf?!!! thats no longer my screen name, why do that? its not a matter of convenience, its even easier to type "JY". sad again.
the saddest thing is when i'm referred to as 'adam from pensacola'. that hasnt been my screen name since like 2001 or maybe early 02. it shows that they are trying to act like 'they know me'. haha

also, there were 3 imposters who wanted to be me when i was hgh.
less variations of johnny yuma.

the only time i dislike the change, is when its done secretively. though when running from hate, or previous embarrassments i can understand the move.

lately a lot of people are doing this. i find some seemingly random person has insulted me, then later i find it to be an old regular whos still hung up on old problems. oh well.

i dont think anyone was the slightest bit confused by my change. i think i even signed some of my first few 'jy' posts with an 'adam' or 'afp'. just to help avoid confusion.

I get the impression that it's not mutual.

edit:
I find you are over reacting becouse of the 'yank' remark.
To elaborate on this impression I have, I'll state the following.

-A way of when talking about the rest of the world, 'you' talk in a manner that suggests that the non-american world is second class etc.

The respect you are asking for isn't mutual. 'You' just don't show it for the non-american world. [ I had this much better formulated ,but I edited it in hopes of doing it even better and lost my red thread at this point]

I don't want to sound accusing or anything , I'm myself 1/4 'american mix' if it makes any difference.

Why all the tension n shit?
I've lost my red thread, I know. I have this 'feat' which is to stumble on something and then tie it up with lots of other shit and get entangled into it.

i seriously dont think i've changed. i was always bipolar around this piece.

nicest of the nice guys.
biggest prick off all the pricks.

i reverted completely for 5 minutes today and got filthy rich to go out on some 'fine i'm gone' shit.

i think most of hgh's "hardcoreness" is just what i posted about a few minutes ago. just feelings carrying over from one thread to another on the reader's behalf.

The respect you are asking for isn't mutual. 'You' just don't show it for the non-american world, so how can you expect to get it yourself? [ I had this much better formulated ,but I edited it in hopes of doing it even better and lost my red thread at this point]

but you're happy with the end result? i dont understand that.

as long as the end result comes quickly and is something that most people will appreciate, who cares about the methods?
a bit too nitpicky.
