maybe its just me overthinking about it or something else but i think killer mike is fitting more into a "definitive jux" type emcee as new songs by him and el are / have been released, in interviews killer mike has said hes been a big fan of all hip hop in general anyways, but think his friendship with el rubbed off on him with a new way of going about it, and in this new album i can hear bits and pieces of that, killer mike is equally good on this as el, i just "know" el better

Admittedly late to this thread but I think M Sayyid from Antipop Consortium is an incredibly underrated MC. Others I think are great and may or may not have already been mentioned in previous response are Danny Brown, Aesop Rock, MC Ride (Death Grips), Murs, P.O.S., Joey Badass, Cunninlynguists, Dalek, Big KRIT, Blu, Edan, Motion Man, Kool Keith, R.A. The Rugged Man, Carl Kavorkian, Illogic, Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler The Creator, Cool Kids, Sensational, Atmosphere, Del, MF Doom, Subtitle and of course, Sage. I listen to too much music.
