I agree, finish watching it. The same story is being told from different perspectives. I thought it was pretty good.

So now the show is back on Netflix. Two episodes in and it is a shadow of what it used to be. The humor is falling short when present, and the plot meanders crazily with very little rhyme or reason, and Tobias has only made a very brief background appearance. As a big fan of the frist three seasons, I was really looking forward to the show's return. Now, I might not get through it. Let's just say that if this is how the show started I never would have watched it.

You're so dramatic it just makes me want to set myself on fire.

Haha!

I would recommend anyone to read the big Mitch Hurwitz interview on Rolling Stone to manage your expectations about the new series and get a bit of insight into what an enormous fucking ballache it was getting it made at all.

I'm about halfway through now. It's not amazing, but I'm enjoying it and I'm glad to have it back. The strands of the story are really starting to come together now and that is quite satisfying..

Plus, I have the "getaway" song stuck in my head this morning..

Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment. Pagan.

For me it started to pick up around episode 3. The idea is that each episode catches you up on one character, which will culminate in you being prepared for the film that is coming out next year.

They really beat that "So we'll have it" joke to a pulp. I've only lol'd at Buster trying to tell a story inbetween stotgunning cig smoke for Lucille so far.

I was really unhappy with it at first, but it kinda grew on me as time went on.

The full cast was only together for 2 days of filming and about 50% of the movie was shot using green screens, characters were having conversations with each other with dialogue that was recorded 4 months apart. so I think they did a good job considering that..

but it still didn't have the old charm to it. a lot of the scenes were weird because of the green screens. the characters just couldn't play off of each other.
