Where do you stand on the political spectrum?..TAKE THE TEST  Reply with quote

A mate of mine told me about this site, if your interested in politics its heavy.

The conventional spectrum of Left and Right is purely economic but most people confuse it with the left being more libertarian and the right being more authoritarian. Its more to do with how the economy is controlled such as State controlled economies are on the left but neo-liberal free market economies (cunts...uh hum) are on the right...

Anyway, fuck it take the test
www.politicalcompass.org/

Its mad interesting man, asks you a list of questions and from your responses places you on a more acurate grid that has an axis based on economics (Left + Right) and then a vertical axis with Authoritarians at the top and libertarians at the bottom.

Ive always been a bit of a Marxist, feeling Gandhi's antics and the general virtues of equality and freedom (Freedom for the masses, not just for the fuckers who own the multi-nationals and fuck over the third world just so they can sell their damn frappicinos for 4).

I was cacking me pants incase I turned out to be on some Hitler tip but its all good... Libertarian left...

What about the rest of you fine folk? Where abouts do you stand?

Take the test.

I'm surprised I'm not considered more right wing economically... but I am healthily libertarian, so I'm happy enough with the result.

Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, and the Dalai Lama are good company in this quadrant.

I was at the same place as the Dalai Lama. Like -5.39 or something. Middle of the lower left square. That test was pretty cool.

p.s- did anyone else find it interesting that Robert Mugabe and Hitler were almost the same spot on the chart. Fuck Mugabe.

Peace,

How can they guage anything with a "strongly disagree, disagree, agree, strongly disagree" format?? I either agree or disagree, ok? If I strongly agree or disagree on a test then I am delving into pretense, seriously. Plus, those questions are so loaded and at times pedantic as fuck. Aliens in UFOS look down on shit like this, for real. They are up there watching us waste fifteen minutes of our finite lives on this crap and they go "well, hmmm, that is fucking retarded"
