What you're seeing in the picture above is not the official version. I believe it is a thincase (not a plastic thincase that folds out though.)

Jewel cases are really cheap, but they take up more space than necessary, they break often, and if the album is not going to be distributed to stores than it's best to just keep it a thincase cover. I definitely prefer the Curtis Plum casing. If I had to choose.

i paid $10. If it had a nicer case, it'd be $11-$12. That's unacceptable.
$10 is a nice price. I have plenty of old, unwanted cds I can use to switch out cases.

My wife has an entire box filled with old Jodeci and Brian McKnight cds. My resources are unlimited. Anyone want an original New Kids On The Block cd? I have cds and cassettes. Hit me up. They're wasting space in my garage.

The pictured case isn't the real packaging... we pressed those up in a hurry so they'd be available on the Texas run.

The real packaging is identical to HOB vol. 1, which is the cardboard thincase you see pictured in the bee crate, with a sticker that seals the cd into the case until you open it. They never break, but if you bury them in the backyard they become a diamond in a million years. #SometimesIMakeUpScience

That is so good I'm willing to ignore the casual use of 'gnarly' in the description for King Bee.

ETA: Haha, I forgot about gnarly.
