I'll be posting more dates soon and still have NorCal openings during Earth Week and the week after. I'll be on the road around the country through May and June as well. If you're interested in helping to set up a poetry show at your school or anywhere in your city this spring or anytime in 2012, hit me up at JaredPaul@gmail.com.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Prayers For Atheists has been nominated for RI's BEST LIVE ACT and ALBUM OF THE YEAR in the Motif Magazine 2012 Music Polls!

Online Voting is here: http://surveygoldplus.com/s/5866E8052E6A4A97/32.htm

The Motif Music Award show was huge last year and we're getting some legit free press out of this. If you can take a second to vote, we'd really appreciate it.

The album nominated, "New Hymns For An Old War," largely deals with issues of the 99% and was basically calling on the universe for a year of powerful political activity from the working class like 2011 was.

It can be ordered through SFR at:
http://www.strangefamousrecords.com/store/index.php?main_page=shopping_cart&sort=20a

And listened to on our Facebook, Bandcamp, and Spotify:

If you wanna like the Facebook page we wouldn't mind either!

Over the last 10 years Providence's Jared Paul has become widely recognized as one of the top performance poets in the world. Known for dedication to craft, poignant presentation, and tackling issues of injustice and inequality, his work has taken him on national tours around the country and throughout Canada and Europe.

After 200 cities and over a thousand performances he will begin recording for a professional live album and is honored to hold the first in a series of shows for the project at AS220's 95 Empire Theatre. This event will feature songs, poetry, and stories from throughout Jared's career, as well an opening showcase poem from 2012 Brown University Poetry Slam Champ, Zanaib Z. Syed, and community action presentations from Occupy Providence and the International Socialist Organization.

Hosted by Providence prodigy, multi-time World Poetry Slam Finalist, and nationally renowned poet, Franny Choi!!

This is the first headlining poetry show Jared has thrown in Providence in years and we'd love to see you there. Professional audio and video will be taken at the event for a comprehensive Jared Paul live spoken word album. Come help us raise the roof and create the electricity for a legendary live recording!
