im a huge fan of the Skate series , Have you played Skate 3? ALOT of improvements have been made, but it isnt one large open world instead they broke it into 3 smaller open to skate areas that are seperated from each other

im a skateboarder so i like it to just freeroam skate and zone out, playin online is fun but not as fun as free-skating, but Cap , i believe that those kids that are all about just trick to trick combos over and over just to rack up points are real, but remember this, THEY HAVE NO STYLE, skating is about style , and yes even in this game you can have style, youtube some videos youll see

I don't mind people playing games just for fun, but I can't stand it when people ruin the fun for others. I know not everyone is an achievement chaser like me. That's cool. Just set up a room for people that want to use exploits instead of actually doing awesome tricks.

And no, I haven't played Skate 3 yet. It's on the list though. I never thought I'd come this far with Skate 2, and yet here I am. The serves are shit, but hey. I certainly prefer the series to Tony Hawk.

the online is way better on skate 3 but as you said the serves are complete shit, and thats the main thing that ruins that part

Damn kids and these turbo controllers these days. I was playing against some dude, and then he invited me to join his party. Sure. Turns out it's some 10 year old. I say, I don't care about winning, I just want the XP. Plus you're using a turbo controller. He's immediately defensive. He told me I was ruining his experience. Ahahaha. Fucking kids.

Saw that. It's about time, really. I think people will be much more likely to buy arcade games if they have a higher achievement score.

Man, Mass Effect 3 is a really satisfying finisher to probably my favorite series. Some of the decisions in this really made me pause and contemplate the outcomes. I found the combat same as ME2... but admittedly I don't really play for the combat challenger and keep the difficulty on casual.

Has anyone finished it yet? I'm interested in the different endings, apparently there are 15 or 16 different ones.

Ya, it took like 25 hours. I play like 4 or 5 games a year...when I get one I usually devote a few days to enjoy it. A perk of being self employed.

I had the terrible mistake of trying my hand at the Dynasty Warriors series, specifically DW5: Empires. I'm sure this game, and series, has a huge appeal for those really in to strategy sims and hack and slash combos. That said, it's one of the most repetitive games I've ever played. It's also ridiculously easy, so much so that there seems to be little to no variation from one stage, kingdom, or scenario to the next. You can make the game harder, but why would you want to? In order to actually "beat" the game you have to go through the same stages over and over again for a total of six go-rounds. At least it was only 5 bucks.

I LOVE DYNASTY WARRIORS.

They're foolishly repetitive, not particularly engaging, and completely bereft of any strategy. But there is something sooooooo satisfying about wading into a sea of enemies and mowing them all down by button-mashing, it just gives me goosebumps.

The guiltiest of pleasures.

Me and my buddy would play Dynasty Warriors for hours and hours back in the ps2 days. It would be nice to have more strategy, but it is what it is. I need to try some of the new ones.

Don't hype yourself up for the endings. Enjoy the game though, it's good.
