There's no chance you could hit St. Louis after the Chicago show, is there? |

About to catch this flight to Wisconsin. Here's an interview I just did with Madison's AV Club:

Sold Madison out. Oversold it actually.
I'm fucking WIPED OUT. Can't type much. Need to sleep and wake up at 7:30AM. But everyone killed it.
Tomorrow we're doing an in-store signing at Fifth Element from 5-6. Might do a little performing but it depends on the sound situation there. And my voice's availability. haha.
Rumors are that Chicago is close to selling out. Get tickets now if you're planning on going! |

Holy freaking moly, mpls was off the choo choo train. Two sold out shows in a row on this tour and I'm going for the turkey in Chicago. All the energy I have left will be depleted on that stage. Metermaids have been killing shit. Kristoff has been killing shit. That's the one two punch right there. Very happy this line up worked out so well. Midwest love is supreme.

duuuuuuude
I signed into here just to see who was coming and was hoping I'd meet with some old cats off here!
This would mark my 8 year anniversary tonight since I saw Sage, MacLethal, and Grand Buffet at the Logan Square Auditorium. Fucking A, I still remember when Joey Beats slipped off the stage and Jared Paul killed it.
I got old. I was 15 then.
wow.
excited for tonight. |

I don't remember that show, think I must have missed it... My first sage show was at fireside bowl in 01 ish. I thought he was mentally Ill afTer the show upon talking to him about buying a cd. I was right. And I've been hooked ever since. I'd say the best show I recall was either at wash u (i believe also 01) or at abbey pub in 06. its easy to be super pumped to see an artist that you know will always give it 110 percent regardless of the circumstances. For the newbies I am bringing, I know if anything they will be entertained. |

So jealous of people that have friends that like sage. none of my chicago people are hip to the sage francis phenomenon, and i have to drag people kicking and screaming to go to shows. luckily, they are always impressed.
Tonight no different, but really looking forward to it.
Have a couple extra tickets (due to aforementioned lame friend situation) if anyone still needs one or two... |
