I've been looking forward to running thru this book. I used to own a copy of Sick oF Being Rich and found his rhymes, skits, funny and the beats great. I got the sense that he didn't take himself too serioulsy and was having fun with it. |

I've always had mixed feelings about J-Zone the talent and the human - like he's an art school rapper that shits on art rap, a backpacking true-schooler who more or less successfully passes off the inconsistency between his unhideable geek qualities and his cantakerous sourpus macho haterism as unreconstructed honesty as a genuine person... but he also... is really good at beats. Amazingly. A hero of mine.
I guess that makes him a version of Necro that's so much less offensive in the end that I'm willing to be a fan. And also he does super know his shit and that's always been evident, and I think that even if this book drives me CRAZY I'll be glad I read it. Pretty much zero chance I won't pick it up. |

since we can't talk about rap here anymore here's a ron paul ad. i'm not fan of his but this is quite a piece of work.
edit: if memory serves me obama promised to bring the troops home from iraq which he has obviously done. i don't think he said anything about withdrawing from afghanistan during the campaign. |

i got mine through the other day and i'm looking forward to making a start on it surrounded by christmas leftovers, chocolates & Baileys.
Bo$$ Hog Barbarian$ with it too, which is good, because i've not heard it before, but iffy because i purposely never heard it before.. celph titled is far too hit and miss.
anyway, props for the prompt shipping! glad i got it before the christmas lull.. |

I've got the book now too, can't wait to read it..
I haven't revisited that Bo$$ Hog album since I got it when it came out and was sorely disappointed. It was one I was really looking forward to at the time. I need to go back and check it again without the high expectations and see how it measures up. |
