| Mr. Dibbs health issues |

Hope this is OK to post here. Seems like Mr. Dibbs has racked up some health bills and could use some help.

"Mr Dibbs, the legendary and innovative DJ/producer, has given so much of himself to art & hiphop for over 20 years. Dibbs has recently been diagnosed with Cirrhosis which is the final phase of chronic liver disease. Thanks to America's healthcare system (or lack thereof), the cost of his treatment has reached astronomical levels in just one month's time. Dibbs is no longer able to work due to his debilitating condition, so we're kindly requesting that people step up and help ease the financial pains while he deals with the physical ones. Any amount would help..."

This is really sad. Hoping all the best for the big homie. I know that he had 3 surgeries last week according to his tweets, but other than that, and what's already been posted above, we're just kind of awaiting official word on his status. |

saw this on atmosphere facebook. really really sad.
I will never forget meeting him the first time, he drove up to Columbus to see Sage perform at this little bar in Columbus, Little Brothers... late 02 or early 03. Id just met Sage for the first time and he said "This is Mr. Dibbs, you know who that is? Well, he is the shit" So i quickly got familiar with him and was really excited to see he remembered me from that night at Scribble Jam that summer. Dibbs gave me an onstage bracelet for the next 3 or 4 years of Scribble Jam and shared a lot of brief conversations that made me feel pretty cool. This is just sad stuff. |

immense love to Dibbs - his 231 Way To Fry An Egg is still one of my favourite records & a major reason why I started making beats in the first place |

I've heard that he's taken a turn for the better. In a miraculous way of sorts. I haven't spoken with him directly but I have some good sources. I can't say how good that makes me feel. I love Dibbs. |

I have spoken to Dibbs and it's the same story as I mentioned before. His health has seemingly improved in a major way. He has adopted a vegan diet and taken alternative measures to get his health back on track. Shit is kind of crazy. You'd have to get details directly from him though, and hopefully he shares his story with the public. |

When Mr. Dibbs was sick, I sent him 33 four leaf and five leaf and six leaf clovers in an envelope. I hope he got them. Lol. I'm stuperstitous. |
