Nah. I'm in a hiphop group that only a few people know and hate.
I always laugh when people compare B to Sage. I get why it happens but If anything I'd say Dolan's aesthetic is closer to El-P's than Sage's. |

Please don't ruin this lovely moment of appreciation for me by trotting out the comparison game.
At one time or another, depending on the region, their knowledge of rap, and the song they just heard, I've been compared to a long list that includes Immortal Technique, Sole, LL Cool J, Old Dirty Bastard, Saul Williams, a hundred shitty Slam poets, haha... the list goes on and fucking on. I don't wanna hear it any more than I wanna hear which guy with a beard you think I look like.
Show me the El-P song that sounds like 'The Skycycle Blues' or the Immortal Technique song that sounds like 'Marvin', and until you can show me those things recognize that I am a unique fucking snowflake with a million billion on my dick.

Yeah yeah, I agree and all but WHEN CAN WE HEAR THAT ODB JOINT?:(
I've been asking that for a year or so. how about a free DL track of a new B.Dolan joint for Christmas? We used to get some free preview-type tracks every now and then here. Hell, you guys could just email it to me. It's my birthday today (Dec 9th).:( |

Not only there will be a free song released next week, we'll release a fancy new video to go with it. The ODB joint is being worked on by a team of NASA engineers as we speak. |

Not comparing the two at all.....but B. over some El-P beats would be at the top of my hip hop wish list. |

I like the album; I didn't make comparisons, I made a lazy swapping of name segments; Limbs made the El-P reference.

I haven't dug any of the remixes to any song from the album. I'm too close to them.
I remember seeing a song/video some schmo did rapping over the whole 'Marvin' beat. That offended me. |
