There is a large distinction between GOP primary voters and general electorate voters. The former is more likely to vote for a Mormon than the latter.

Mormonism is one step away from Scientology on the ridiculo-metre.

Yes, of course some people will vote for Mitt.

But a magic underwear wearing, Joseph Smith believing Prez?

Uh uh.

This is the guy right here.

And some people will vote for Sanchez Santorum. My point is that GOP primary voters (those who could give Romney the nomination) != general election voters.

I think Herman Cain stands a better chance at being elected than Santorum.

Not true. Evangelicals have a deep and abiding mistrust of Mormonism, and are more likely to act on that mistrust than the general electorate is.

Hah. So Chris Christie is flirting with the possibility of joining the race.

I have a feeling Carrot Top could run for the GOP and have a chance. Jared Paul I doubt you would get lulz out of these debates; people booing a marine for being gay, etc. etc.
