or this....from his book.

Quote:

[P]eople have the right to discriminate...in choosing...an employee.... Civil rights legislation of the past thirty years has totally ignored this principle. Many 'do-gooders,' of course, argue from the 'moral high ground' for their version of equal rights, knowing that they can play the sympathies and the guilt of many Americans.

Quote:

The idea that the social do-gooder can legislate a system which forces industry to pay men and women by comparable worth standards boggles the mind...The concept of equal pay for equal work is...an impossible task.... By what right does the government assume the power to tell an airline it must hire unattractive women if it does not want to?

I also refuse to believe it's possible for anyone to be elected president without compromising everything they believe in to appease corporate overlords. If Ron Paul was elected President, he'd cease to be Ron Paul. Same with Kucinich.

I think the system by which we construct our government is now so completely corrupt that it's impossible to actually see the people's will manifest beyond the acceptable ways in which the wealthy have seen fit for it to manifest. Voting is buying into that system of delusion, and in some ways legitimizing it.

The only real political party right now is survival. Live as long as you can. Enjoy what you have. They'll come for you soon enough.

We've done the Ron Paul thing before:

In short, not a lot of support for Ron Paul because most of us aren't dumb. Most of us, anyway.

I think it is good to have someone like him in Washington, he provides much lulz, and he would be a great 3rd party candidate from a democrat's perspective (because of his ability to illustrate the problems with conservatism), but if we are seriously talking about him holding this country's highest office, come the fuck on.

Though I definitely have hope that Kucinich wouldn't change all that much. But, damn it. Look at McCain, though. Same shit. Really makes you shake your head, kick dirt, and snap your fingaz.
