Wish I could make it down for the show with The Thoughtcriminals!

Can't wait until you guys are back in Providence! I'm excited for a potential Jared Paul solo album.

New PFA Review:

http://www.doeslikemusic.com/newmusic/check-out-prayers-for-atheists/

Quote:

Remember the days when Public Enemy were necessary, relevant? Remember when Rage Against The Machine put out new material? What about the first time you heard Anti-Flag or Against Me!? No, Iím not referencing the 90′s, but a young band making great music.

New Englandís Prayers for Atheists glide between poingnant, Minor Threat-esque lyricism and urgency and history-lesson-like wordsmithing akin to Chuck Dís, over quick riffage and snappy percussion. Also known as the only punk band to be on Sage Francisí Strange Famous Records, Prayers for Atheists make the kind of music anyone who has ever appreciated the 1980′s hardcore-punk scene can relate to.

Good luck at the show tonight, fellas! PFA is about to wrap up quite a long jaunt. I can only imagine how much y'all are fiendin' to see the Providence skyline at this point.

Soon, Papa. Soon!

Last night's show at the Milestone was one of the best of the tour. The new Thought Kriminals line up is really gettin' shit done. Loved their set. And they hooked us up with a badass socialist punk band from NC called I.E.D. Those dudes tour the fucking roof off.

Trying to figure out how to post this Thought Kriminals video of Whirling Dervish now!

By far our best tour to date. Met so many great people out there; played the biggest show of our career to date at the Socialism 2011 conference in Chicago; sold completely out of shirts and patches; saw a lot of people singing along, knowing the words; played big, crazy shows just a couple days ago in Decatur, AL and Charlotte that are still fresh in memory; heard from a fan from Seattle that we're his favorite band, which is a major life goal I can take off my list. Wonderful times.

I'm continually amazed at the support & hospitality we're met with out there, too. To have 4 smelly, frayed-around-the-edges-from-a-loooong-drive-looking dudes roll into your house at some crack-ass hour of the morning and to be okay with them showering and sleeping on your furniture? It takes some saintly people to allow such things.

I'm going to take a week off to rest up before hitting the studio to start work on the next album. Bigger and better things on the way!

Oh, and did I mention that we did all this in a Prius? Not easy to be 6 feet tall and sleep in the backseat of one of those... : )

HOME MUTHAFUCKAZZZZZ!! Alan and I are gonna be posting some vid and pictures over the next week or so but right now I ain't doing shit but sleeping and eating vegan cake with mi'lady.

A gillion trillion thanks to Khill & Thought Kriminals for hooking up one of the dopest shows of tour, to the Aquifer boys for having our backs on another multi-city Norcal run, to Frank the P for repping on the low, Sole for helping out/performing in Denver (John from Sky Rider, as well), Guante for hopping on the Minneap bill on short notice, Slooth, Gary and the Bullheaded crew for helping out in CO (more staunch SFR supporters, who should probably get up on this forum), As Your Attorney for tech support, George Watsky for headlining the SFC show, to SE & Alicia Murphy (staunch SFR supporters) at Open Books in L.A. who helped make SFC a total success, to International Socialist Organization for inviting us to headline the Socialism 2011 conference where we had the best set of our career in front of 500 rowdy ass anti-capitalists, to Ceschi, Herman, & Grime, Adder, Agents of Change, and any other forum heads or SFR supporters that came out to the shows.

And as always, to big Fran, B, Storm, and SFR for helping us spread the word about the shows and having our backs out on the road. It always makes a difference. Many, many, many thanks.

Here's a clip our homie Ronnie took of Guns Up from the Decatur, AL show:

4 National DIY tours since the first album dropped in late July of 2009. 170 plus shows. 54 in the last 10 weeks. Stick a fucking fork in us. WE'RE ON VACATION.

It was and still is an absolute pleasure to help you fellas with the technical aspect of the tour. I gained a new perspective and realized how crucial social media has become in the industry. Whether it'd be plugging in tour dates on Facebook or updating info on R.N. - it's helpful to someone out there.

Congratulations on the succesful tour once again!

I am ASHAMED to not only have missed every show I could have made on your perpetual tour but that I STILL haven't copped the new record. I hang my head.

You guys rule regardless. I promise to get my shit together.
