Good call. It was like a poor man's Conan, but somehow better in many ways.

I kind of missed the start of this thread but HELL YES to Silent Running. Love that film. Bruce Dern did a good job too considering he spends a lot of the film in the company of robots.

They're showing Killer Klowns From Outer Space in a cinema in London soon, along with the Garbage Pail Kids movie. I remember seeing Klowns when I was about 9, it's dumb as all hell but for some reason I'm finding it hard to resist seeing it in a cinema...

I am pretty sure it was 90 but Total Recall was HUGE for me. Aaaaand I just found out they are filming a remake right now... with Bryan Cranston as Cohaagen... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Colin Farrel as Quaid...

........

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the fucking Underworld guy is directing.

Total Recall is based on a K. Dick short story anyways, so it's not like the original filmmakers made the whole thing themselves. Who knows maybe the new version is closer to the original story?
