im finding myself looking up albums i would otherwise never ever check

for example i just saw limp bizkit has a new album...yeah...thats right

i tried so hard not to click it but i just wanted to hear what they are up to nowadays

Some people complain about their pay being shit for what they do. Spotify pays a fraction of a shit. And it's legal. Which is why people are saying it's possible worse than piracy. Regardless, this is the way everything is moving and I've given up on trying to stop it. There's no use.

Some of the information on that chart is confusing. It only tells you how much an artist makes from a song purchase on iTunes or amazon. What do they make for a cd? Also, do most artists have low- or high-end royalty deals?

Why would the labels agree to this? It doesn't look like they're making much money from last.fm or spotify either.

The chart tells you how much they make per CD at the very beginning of it.

I meant how much do they make from a CD sold on iTunes. I guess I should have said "digital album."
