I definitely want to hear that. If I thought I could make a good beat out of that song I wouldn't have thrown it into this podcast. Do you have it available?

This is good stuff. Had it going in the background the other day.

Sage, unfortunately I don't think I have it anywhere anymore. I had a hard-drive failure that lost a TON of my old sample-based material (and an entire unreleased album) all together. I can try to rebuild it later this week, though, I'll shoot a rough version to you if you'd like once I have that.

Really liking the mix. Lots of replay value with all the dialogue clips, very dense.

The Eye of the Tiger remix is super.

kHill,
No worries, man. Don't bother recreating that if it wasn't something you thought was absolute fire. I was just curious how that beat sounded.

Thanks. Glad you guys are liking it. Definitely put a lot of time into it. I feared another mix would fly under the radar but this one seems to have taken hold.

Can I be that guy and ask what kind of software you're using to put these two Godcasts together? This sort of thing inspires me to put a little something together of my own. Great stuff. Are we witnessing the birth of Sage Francis' next iteration as DJ/producer?

When the engineer I typically worked with moved to California I started messing with Logic so I could record in my house. I don't know if that's a program worth endorsing, but I've learned how to work with it.

Quasifoto,
The guy you're asking about is Jim Jeffries.

I'm finally listening to this and it's excellent- the way you wove that spirit talk part with the backing track is perfect, and now I'm onto a track that was in Return Of The Living Dead! That's ingrained in my soul since my younger years... Love it. Class work man!
