I found this amusing, maybe you guys will to. My baby-boom generation folks were in town this wknd, and I was bumpin the Godcast in my car. For once my 'rents actually dug the music I was playin - laughin, groovin, askin me who the artists were etc (I said I wish I knew lol). Made for fun car rides. Godcast is fun for the whole family kids!

I really thought I was going to be great at this and I am NOT. Haha.

I love listening to it but this is not my area of musical expertise whatsoever!

My main objective was to make a good mix of music that I enjoy, but I had to make sure this wasn't easy for hiphop enthusiasts or diggers to figure out. I also had to make sure this wasn't something that could be figured out with google searches or any other nifty internet device. Not easy to do, but fun nonetheless.

I don't use this term lightly, but I gotta say, I think the Godcast from concept to operationalization, its kinda genius Sage. Its genius in my book. 4 real!

I thought I'd be able to get at least one.. but no.

I thought I was going to be like Rosie Perez with Foods that being with the Letter Q..

Like, maybe it's just if I was making a Godcast, I would've put this on it.....
....and i was hoping it would be on it. so i could've guessed it.

but maybe it's too obvious....

thanks funny flute guy.

If I had the foresight, I would have set the GODCAST contest deadline for May 21. Alas, there are 3 days left to submit the answers requested in order to earn yourself $500. Since that mix was first posted, a few people have told me they’ve got it almost figured out, but only ONE person has submitted a tracklist. And…holy crap…he almost got it. He missed the mark on 2 demos and 1 spoken word track. Other than that, he pinpointed songs I was certain people wouldn’t be able to figure out. Which makes me think...there’s a very fair chance that I’ll be dishing out money to someone soon. Whether that happens or not, I’ll be posting the full tracklist along with the reasoning behind holding this contest on May 26th.
