It's embarrassing that it takes something like that to kick the high horse out from under me, but obviously it became crystal clear when you made that connection that I was being a total cockhole.
Usually when I leave this board for a while, it's because I'm feeling self-pitying about how mean everyone is to me. Maybe I ought to consider turning that lens around.

Well, wow, that's about the most heartfelt apology I have ever received on the internet, and truly one of the most heartfelt I've received in recent memory. The world can be incredibly cruel, and it hardens all of us. I'm not so sure I deserved such a nice apology! We've all been there Jesse, and will be again. Sometimes gems come from the strangest of places.
