The governor elects an intern replacement upon the death (hopefully not the case with Rep. Giffords) of a representative. Then they do an special election for a replacement.
This is what got me. |

so if this was politically motivated its a terrorist attack and should be treated as such, correct?
early reports on the ID of the suspect dont necessarily confirm this was the case, but it has to be a possibility. |
