i DLed some old He-Man off of Kazaa, and i must say that, while i was an avid fan from about the age of five (i swear to god i still got the swords at my house and shit) that cartoon fucking sucks. seriously, its barely even good for camp value.

alvin and the chipmunks on the other hand, thats the fuckin shizz-nizzle.

and DBZ kicks ass, dont hate, its a huge saga.

We had Dangermouse - that was mega

fuckin right. remember that episode where he's flying around in space w/ penfeld and he gets to the end of space and it's a white void?dammit i'm a nerd.

and yeah, a lot of 80's cartoons weren't very good, i watched an old episode of g.i. joe the other day and it was terrible

i loved the shit out of denver the dinosaur but i'll be damned if it wasn't a stupid premise for a show.

and they used the same voices, cobra commander is the same voice as one of the decepticons

and yes transformers is timeless. i bought the movie on dvd about a month ago. what cracks me up is that the music is terrible(weird al's "dare to be stupid" is played during a fight scene), yet the ONLY special feature is an interview w/ the composer.

yes, girls are much better looking these days

why don't they put Aeon Flux on adult swim?

They have another shower on adult swim that is by the same people who did Aeon flux, same type of animation, I never watched it beacuse i never liked Aeon flux.

The redo of Transformers is the best im happy they did it. It kicked so much ass befor why not remake so kids can enjoy it agian?

I can't believe no-one has mentioned Turtles yet. Didn't they come around sometime in the late eighties? They should count. And by lord, Ducktales were so great. I still have tapes of recorded episodes that I watch bi-yearly.... it is so good to do. Anyway, those, He-Man, Danger Mouse, the Fraggles and dr Snuggles were some great things.

As for more recent cartoons... I like Johnny Bravo.

coming from outside the states

let me tell you that american didn't have shit for cartoons overall

if you lived outside the states, you still got your thundercats, he-man, transformers, etc...

but you also got the GOOD anime...america gets dragon ball z and all that other stupid ass shit (pokemon...what the fuck is that???)

if you're in the know with the anime shit then you know that the best cartoons in history are of that genre...and they were always too "adult" for american audiences...meaning they were actually serious works...just happened to be animated

I was all about transformers and thundercats back in the day...but shit, if you're american, you never even got to see Saint Seiya...that's sad
