I have always hated the "real Gs move in silence" line....especially when its usually in a song where.....well....the G really isn't moving silently at all...bragging about what he has done/is doing/will do.

Regardless, he could have used a word where the G is silent:

gnat, gnome, sign, campaign, reign, foreigner diaphragm, design, resign, gnaw

yes I Googled silent G words

I say the "gn" in 2/3rds of those words exactly how I say it in "lasagna."

la-zah-nyuh

Wait.

Nyuh-at?
Nyuh-ome?
Sigh-nyuh?
Kam-pay-nyuh?
Ray-nyuh?
For-ih-nyuh-er?

What, that's not how you say those words too?

I really like the song. Corey Gunz is one of the very few examples of a kid who is an extremely better musician than the parent.

Brian Wilson is the only other one I can think of.

I don't put ricotta in my lasagna. I don't really like ricotta, it's grainy, ya know? A soft cheese should not be grainy.

You've been eating shitty ricotta. Buy the good shit if you can find it or make your own, it won't be gritty. Key is fresh

That looks worth trying. I've never messed around with homemade cheese but thats by far the easiest looking recipe I've seen. Thanks for the tip!

I come from an Italian family that puts Ricotta cheese in everything. Well, that's not true, but I've eaten my fair share of lasagna in my time. I've never had grainy Ricotta but it sounds absolutely horrible—thanks for that link True, I'm going to try that.
