That's simple. If someone posts that they want to be banned then ban them. If someone got their password because they downloaded the gawker database or something then the owner of the banned account can write an email explaining the situation and someone will unban the account and give a new password.
BTW, if you ever decide you want to be banned you don't have to make a childish plea for attention. Just go change your email address. Your account will deactivate and the only way to reactivate it is to email an admin. |

red: yeah, i know. i was just being dramatic. multiple members have risen from the dead when their seemingly irrational behavior was explained or they served their time in purgatory.
the metaphor isn't particularly applicable in this case, but moments like these alway remind me of herostratus - obviously an incredibly immature and egotistical character, yet 2356 years later he has words in multiple languages derived from his name and his own wikipedia entry. crazy.

I didn't know about Herostratus. Kind of reminds me of Mark David Chapman. |

Kind of reminds me about this 1967 British film by Australian film-maker Don Levy about a man who plans a spectacular public suicide. |

These freak outs are better then those who quitely fade. I would have loved to see a trav freak out post before he faded out. |

Why on Earth would that gif not include him putting the remote up his butt? Poor execution. |
