UPDATE:
that was an amazing show. Was like the 12th person in, good crowd response, nonstop music, Astronautalis blew everyone away (never actually seen him live), Mike Mictlan was eyeball f*cking my wife, i peed next to Cecil Otter, and I made it to work on time today. Great night!
I'll upload pics once I recharge my camera.

I'd highly recommend catching this tour if it's coming to your city... The show in SF last Friday was one of the best I've seen in a long time...
The whole crew was on stage for 3 hours, taking turns... and all of them fucking killed it... even came back for an encore. I mostly came to see Cecil and POS, but was thoroughly impressed with the rest of the crew as well...
The new Cecil song was dope...
I left with a huge crush on Dessa... |

Just confirmed that we (Metermaids) are opening the Brooklyn show on 11/26 at The Knitting Factory. We are excited about it.
We might have a couple of extra guest-list-slots, so if any forum members are trying to come through holler at me on The Facebooks and I will see what I can do. |

as promised, here's some pics from the Denton show. I was next to the stage, which is great to not get in the mess.....bad at photo opportunites, but I got a few good ones.
quite possibly the best live shot I've ever taken.....this guy was obnoxious the whole show
damn, looking through these, I think i need a better camera finally.
Oh well. I'm glad I got that guy making that face.

the dc was short but sweet, the show started at 730 and it was over at 930 to make way for a dance party, but they killed it none the less. |
