I just got back from Eyedea's wake and now i'm off to B's dad's funeral. Ain't nothing pretty about this year. Nothing at all. I hope that whoever goes to DC for this event has a great time. Hopefully we can have a Strange Famous gathering at some other place at a better time.
jeahhhhh.
Seez Mics told me he was going to Eyedea's funeral, too. Got you guys in my prayers and etc.
Shit was pretty crowded and fun. Met tons of weirdos either there just to get a laugh, selling sarcastic t-shirts, or standing around on podium to shout out something they believed in.
Between the OJs getting backed up by The Roots and The Myth Busters making people do the wave and etc., it was a good time. |

It would be like the Gathering Of The Juggalos... but less fat chicks with cigarettes.

Looks like they blew Beck's circle jerk out of the water. Good job Stewart and Colbert! |

Holyfuckingshit what a crazy ass morning/day/night. So much happened but I have so little energy to write about it right now. I do want to give a big shout out to crash though for showing me some amazing hospitality while I was out here, I definitely recommend hitting him up if you ever make it to DC, I had a blast though man (and just an heads up, the metro is open till 3 on weekends). Also got to meet redball in person, which was awesome, hope you made it back alright man. All in all it was a great day, and now all I want to do for the next 12 hours is sleep. |

It was pretty unbelievable. We were lucky enough to be close enough to the stage where we could see it and the guests. We definitely could have been closer, but after checking those full shots of the Mall, we are just lucky to have been anywhere near the stage.
DC was out of it's mind yesterday, but the event went off without a hitch.
There was roughly 215K people there. Beck's rally had 87K. Obviously people will debate those numbers, but it's here:

It also says a lot of people ended up going to watch it in bars and whatnot once they saw the massive crowd.
Was pretty fucking awesome. The guests were bananas, and Jon's speech at the end wrapped it all up in a really surreal way. Can't wait to see how the media handles it. |

HA!!! That is great.
I am so happy that this had such a big turnout!
I bet Stewart and Colbert are literally stupified at how much of a political force they have become.

That old lady in the bottom left hand corner of the photo who has her mouth open is reading "If I can't have you, then no one will" and is clearly quite shocked. |
