HHI definitely put me onto alot of the indie shit then. The boards were funny and I used to want to get on the site with my music but I felt I wasn't ready then. I remember getting some shit from the site though I thought was pretty good but damn, that breaking-his-hand-playing-basketball-shit really got him in trouble. Oh well.....I post on PF...... |

yup. truehiphop.com was a radio station and magazine that pedestrian and i started in my bedroom in maine. thats what i do, i start things, get what i want out of them, and move on... i dont imagine anyone from the truehiphop.com days were around anymore... did you ever listen to "dj anti turntablist and shorty laruso?"
truehiphop.com is how my beef with NY started. honestly, i dont know if i ever laughed so much in my life as when we would do those radio shows... other than 88hiphop we were one of the only online radio shows that reported to hits/cmj/gavin... thats how i learned so much about the music industry at age 16...
initially, because we were promoting west coast shit on the site, we gave pminus... truehiphop.com/atak but when anticon took off i stopped doing the magazine and gave him the domain... |
