We have these albums in stock now. I checked it out as soon as they arrived and I'm pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness of this album. It's on some bizarro Prince-ish dance music afropunk awesomeness. It's really tough to explain. It's easy to enjoy upon first listen despite how unique it is.

Flossin- Thanks!

Sage- Nice description. Did you ever get to see him perform any of this material? (I mentioned earlier that I saw him open for Cage with this stuff and it like totally blew my mind) Anyone, actually? I think Bird Flu had verses in the live version. But anyway. Live versions of these songs = intense.

there was a really interesting, kinda sad article in the Village Voice about this album. A bit of a review of the album, and a candid interview with El about it.

For those of you that didn't hear the album yet, here's a link to the 'listening party' (El-P tweeted it some time ago, so I hope it's cool to post it here):

So. What's your favorite tracks from the album so far, people?

I'll be bumping this album for quite some time. It's fun, catchy and one of a kind. I'm surprised by how much I like this album. Definitely not what I expected.
