Iowa City was a blast tonight! I love it when that many people dance and mic stands get knocked over. That's how it should always happen.
Awesome flyer for tomorrow's show with Building Better Bombs @ 7th Street in Minneapolis:

These last 3 were taken at the Haymarket Martyr's monument (at the site of the Haymarket Massacre on May 4th, 1886) in Chicago. RIP Albert Parsons, August Spies, Adolph Fischer, George Engel, and Louis Lingg. The 8 hour work day, safety codes, overtime pay, and worker's rights didn't come from nowhere. Presente!

You know where Ione is? lol. Yeah, Clark's Corner is one of the few venues in Amador County that will take a chance on indie shows. |

Haha holy shit. I love this. I'll let my people in Shingle Springs and Mountain Ranch know. I love me some Amador county. |

What the FUCK. I've been reminding myself for weeks that the PFA shows here are in the last week of July. I just looked at the schedule again and saw that they already happened?

Sorry to hear it, breakreep. Salt Lake was definitely a good one, too; especially since we had a tire blowout maybe half an hour after we left Denver, putting us about 3 hours behind schedule. Once again (just like with the winter tour, although that time it was due to treacherous driving conditions), we pulled up to the venue in SLC, loaded in, and played. The stress of the day made the set a particularly fiery one, I think, haha.
Oh, and then the van overheated and broke down for the second time the day after that. It's all good, though; by this point with all the repairs we've made, we pretty much have a brand new van. Should last us at least a couple tours more!
The shows have been great, though, and everybody's spirits are high. I'm re-reading "Get In the Van" on this tour, too; which is inspiring and fun. We're psyched to be hitting the West Coast starting this week! |

Definitely missed ya Breakreap! It was another last minute ride into the venue. We're 3 for 3 with SLC now. One of our favorite spots.
Anybody from the Seattle/Tacoma area headed to the show tonight at The New Frontier? |
