AKA Belly Up Tavern and the Glass House
I will be attending both of these shows and, since I didn't think these two cities would get much coverage, I figured it would be good to combine them.
Who else is going! |

there's a very good chance that benjy
will make an appearance at the belly up, one of
the best venues in sd county, if not
all of california - or at least anywhere south
of the cultural bastion that is fresno |

I've been hearing a lot of good things about the Belly Up venue. This'll be my first time there, so I'll get to find out if some of them are true.
The infamous Benjy
will be making
an appearance! Maybe I'll
get a chance to ask you
about your peculiar
posting style.
Dsodreams! Hope to see you 'round pally pal. |

I had originally planned to hit both of these shows.
I recently moved to Oceanside CA. which is about 15 minutes up the fwy from belly up tavern in solana beach.
And here I am.. in my PJs.. about to go to bed so I can go to work early in the morning..
I bet B.dolan is smashing it right now.
damn...
I'll be at the Pomona Glass house show.
Especially if Sage isnt going to be touring or playing as many shows from here on out.
(Sage @ the glass house 2005 was one of the BEST live musical performances I have ever seen. ever.) |

The Solana Beach show was fantastic. I just want to say, for my first Sage show, it was a memorable experience that I will never forget. My friend and I were really lucky to be standing there in the front row, too. I don't know how many people will come away from these shows realizing that this is what it's all about; these special nights and moments, coming out with your friends, finding beauty in experience.
I just want to say thank you Sage, Dolan, and if they frequent the board FMA for putting on such an amazing, high-energy show. These dudes rip it up. See you all tonight in Pomona!
PS: B., did you drop the peice about Laika from your set? |

that one's gonna be another 'border crossing' i think... i have ambitious plans for it. |

Pomona show last night was great. Better than Hollywood. Kind of bummed that it was pretty much the same set, but everything seemed a lot tighter tonight. Besides, my favorite part of a Sage Francis show is usually the off the cuff banter between songs (no one beats Sage on this, except for maybe Fat Mike). The band seemed to be having a lot better time tonight too, at least from the crowd perspective. Sad to hear that this might be the last CA show for a while.
Has the setlist stayed the same for the whole tour? I would have loved to have heard the band take on tracks like "Runaways" "Bridle" or "Slow Down Gandhi" |
