I liked Grieves as Mac's hype man, and he did a few songs by himself both of the shows I saw him as Mac's hype man. They were cool. The others I heard were okay.

I really like this Soulcrate record though.

I want this Felt record. But I keep buying other records.

I don't think I've listened to it the whole way through, honestly. I bought it, liked it (mainly for Aesop's beats) about halfway through, and then I just got disinterested in it.

Murs really really sucks on this album. I get halfway through the album, and don't want to listen to it anymore because his voice and him in general just start to ebb away at my patience.

Aesop's beats aren't wack. You sound like the last troll on Earth's broken record with some of what you say, Trav.

And Neuro, it is not fresh. It's criminally boring at parts (Murs parts mainly), and all in all it's just "meh". And I bought it, too.

I think I'll just stick to buying P.O.S. from Rhymesayers from now on.

I like grieves. He reminds me of slug in many ways. And it's going to be fun watching him grow and see where he takes his music next under the watch of rhymesayers. He came to NC not to long ago and he was great. And pretty darn nice to us.

I slept hard on this one, duders. Guatanamo Bay hard. I wasn't impressed with the first two Felt records and figured I was in for much of the same here. Wrong. Guatanamo Bay wrong. My biggest beef with Felt 1 and 2 was the production. Grouch is someone I respect, especially for the production on Fuck the Dumb, but this was not a fine performance. Felt 2 should have a certified banger, but sadly most of the tracks don't seem to have the impact of Ant's other work. But Felt 3, shooooooot. I never thought I'd say this, but Aesop Rock really learned how to make some fine tracks, didn't he? The production he's done on his own albums makes so much sense now. This is my new favorite hip hop album... that's three years old.

Edit: I would like to see Felt 4 as a tribute to Lucy Liu, T-Wrex. I think Margaret Cho is a bit off the mark, and Tia Carrere is too obvious. Unless the beats consist solely of samples from her band in Wayne's World.
