I think Felt 3 is the only Felt that Murs holds his own on, honestly. See his verse on "Permanent Stand-by" for evidence.

Wasn't a huge fan of that video. Kinda boring to see the video get acted out bit by bit, especially one that is just a story from beginning to end. It was well-done though, just didn't do it for me.

You can find it on itunes and download itunes for free from my understanding of it.

Proceeds are being donated to a charity.

However, maybe a quick email or glance at the sfr shop might help you as well.

following taken from atmosphere's myspace page

"FELT (Slug, Murs & Aesop Rock) along with Rhymesayers Entertainment are releasing Felt 3: A Tribute To Rosie Perez instrumentals and accapellas to support youth writing. All proceeds will be donated to 826 National, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with creative and expository writing skills, and also helping teachers inspire their students to write. For more information on 826, go here: www.826national.org.

Buy the Felt 3: A Tribute To Rosie Perez instrumentals and accapellas now from iTunes

Anyone heard the Grieves and Budo remixes?

http://grievesandbudo.com/

Just listening, seem pretty good.

I must have missed the boat on Grieves, but I just find him terrible. Don't like the voice, the rhymes, the breath control, or how he acted in person. Start to finish, not a fan. I am blown away by the passionate support he gets. Is that a rhymesayers thing or from his having been with Mac Lethal or what?

Yeah, especially considering how Mac left and what was going on with Grieves and Mac. Very weird situation. But Rhymesayers definitely downgraded with Grieves. Was at a Sole show in Brooklyn and one of the DJ's kept shouting out Grieves because he was in attendance. Was this close to yelling "Who gives a fuck?"

I don't know if that "why do people like grieves" was aimed at me, but as a rapper I don't see anything in him.

I just saw that posted on Rhymesayers' twitter and gave it a listen as I've enjoyed Budo's production when I've heard it (and I think Grieves had some nice stuff for Mac before the issues happened) and I thought it was good.

Note if you haven't listened to it, it's just remixes, not turning Felt into Grieves, Slug and Murs or anything.

And I wasn't particularly street teaming or anything, never listened to much Grieves and get the impression he's a twat.

He's God awful.

I'm sure there are a thousand Minnesotan-Midwestern rappers that are better than him. Ah well.

I agree wholeheartedly. I think I said so before, but Murs on this is leaps and bounds better than the other shit by him I've heard recently.

the G&B remixes are pretty cool.

i met grieves at an atmosphere show in NC and he was cool. This was before RSE, right when he was getting up with Mac. Irreversible has some amazing tracks. like really good.
everything else has seemed like recycled flows from that album.
and i dont get the whole electronic dance music stuff from his more recent albums.
I can see an album like Irreversible blowin an artist up
but everything else has seemed to be lacking something.
