Do you have contacts for Blue Moose or Gabes?
I can definitely myspace them now...
Also, any ideas on Lincoln, NE?
My band-mates should have the appropriate contacts. I'm not sure if it's the same people doing the booking at Gabe's now, that just switched over from Picador like last week. I shall make inquiries and get back to you. As far as Lincoln, I've never gone out or seen music or spent much time there at all. |

I don't know if that means anything to you but if you had worked the Midwest circuit in years past it would...it's grimy as hell but live shows there can be way fun.
I've never helped a traveling act make their arrangements before, but I would be down to do what I can to promote or whatever's necessary, and definitely to open (Also I think my band would make a lot of sense with you guys musically and kind of be your crowd). Most of the SFR 'undercard' if you will has yet to blow here but I think we could get a nice mix between the indy heads and gutter punks and college kids. Bottom line I guess is we'd be excited to have you come through, but I'd want to it to be worth you time...I know coming here sometimes isn't...I feel like I can see Sage sneering right now...
Yeah man, we could definitely fuck with Iowa City. And we're ALLL ABOUT collaborating with Forum musicians. We're playing with Khill & Thought Criminals in Charlotte!! Also, PFA can rock Hip Hop shows if necessary, but we mostly play punk, rock, indy, hardcore, and mixed genre events. So kicking it with bands is actually better for us.
We were gonna go from Chi to Milwaukee to Minneap... but I just checked the map and Iowa City to Minneap is actually shorter than MIL to MIN. All told it's about the same time/distance for either routing in total.
The date we need is: Monday, July 5th.

if that doens't pan out you could try Vaudeville Mews here in Des Moines. I'll attend either show if it comes off. |

Thanks man!
I'll actually hit them up right now.
The person who volunteered to help with Cleveland like 2 months ago is having difficulty. It's getting real irritating.
Anybody have any ideas on Cleveland? |

Hey, Jared, we think we have a couple different possibilities on that July 5th date. You want to hit me with some contact information so we can have people give you a call to confirm and so forth? You can send it to medicineman319@yahoo.com if you want. |

The 6th Street Warehouse has been a favorite small/diy venue of mine in Los Angeles. Shows can be sporadic there, but I can find out who books it if you are interested. Paint It Black played there a little over a year ago and Keith Morris' new band OFF! is playing there next week.
The flier for that show, with the venue's address is here:

Do you guys know when you'll be in socal? Perhaps jumping onto a show at The Chain Reaction in Anaheim might be a pretty good deal as well. |

You're playing at a place with a chicken coop.
That blows my mind. |
