The only credence I can lend to calling the mix wack, is that it's Wayne's attempt at making a rock record. Which, to him, calls for those terrible 1989 drums. Rappers are historically bad at dipping their toes into the rock genre. They do unfathomably cliche shit.

My thing is caring about the mix.

Who cares?

mac, whens the blood in the water tape coming? i need that
all the songs you released so far off it are great

so it's not the best rap song ever made or anything. It's still okay.

Pretty much how I feel. It's a nice enough song. Not worth a long protracted argument either way though. I like the chorus.

I can see why someone would really like this song. It's pretty good. Not worthy of ten pages of debate but whatever.

although this whole rich guy whining about their hard lives on a rap song shit is annoying. fuck you. we can switch problems.

Play "A Milli" in a club and watch what happens (yes even today).

that fuckin song is so good. it ALMOST rescued carter 3 for me.

although the dude who produced it insinuated that wayne didn't realize what he had on his hands and wrote some sloppy verses. kinda agree. but i'm not a huge fan of his anyway.

Bangladesh, the producer of "A Milli" never said anything of the sort. He thinks Wayne's version of "A Milli" is better than every remix out.

Also, Lil Wayne obliterated "A Milli".

If you think those lyrics are lazy, then you just ain't listenin'. He'll whip yo head boy.

Wayne is raw. Do you honestly think this verse is wack?:

Thank you, Sarcastro. If I had known Lil Wayne was such a touchy subject, I would've just said "Weezy sucks". It doesn't matter if you like Weezy or not, it doesn't matter if you like anything or not. You're not wrong because of it.

And here I am being told to get over myself.

I used to feel the same way, but then I grew out of it and moved on to having thoughts with more substance, you know. I'm not saying that the way you are thinking is bad, it's the same way that I used to think when I was 18, before I grew out of it.

Tell me. Do you still listen to or sing Barney (or whatever childhood show you watched)? My point is, pal, my tastes changed after time.

If you don't like that, well, I just can't imagine me losing sleep over it.

I don't give a shit if you hate him, it's just that every time people say that they hate him they say it's "just because" or "they don't want to go into it" and act like they're on some next level high horse bullshit. If you don't like him or don't think he's your cup of tea that's fine just say that. Don't give me some condescending bullshit answer like your opinion is inherently worth more than mine.

I explained why I didn't like him. Some of you thought I was being snooty. End of story.

I don't need those sorts of things in my day. It's too much pressure. Too much stress. That sort of thing.
