You'll be in Detroit!!! I don't know what I'll be doing then this far in advance, but I'm going to have to make it work. Great news to go with my grape juice.

I think a major motivation in Jared's tours is to be in warm weather. It would be a lot cheaper to just move out west, but we keep him in Providence because misery loves company. Don't quote me on that though. It's possible that the west coast is just more open to setting up shows.

hahahahah

I play anywhere where folks are excited about bringing me out. When I get enough big things, I fill in the gaps with smaller stuff and make a run. Tryin' put my Movement where my mouth is, and if I can, double my money and make a stack! PFA? We play ANYWHERE too. Doing some east coast shows in Nov/Dec: CT, Syracuse, PA, Albany, NYC, Providence, and Boston with the Flobots (December 2nd)!!

We'll do more stuff in driving distance in Feb/March: Philly, Balt/DC, etc.

By May, both Cousin Tom and Marco will have graduated college, and the plan for 2010 is to tour the whole country in the spring and the fall, Canada once, and all the big Northeast cities a bunch of times each.

The band is definitely looking forward to playing Detroit and East Van for the first times ever on this run. Cleveland is about to be added as well.

The west coast has just been showin' us a lot of love and throwin' down guarantees as well. Can't argue with that.

*Thanks for the assist Jehu! I've actually been at Compost but he's been a bit off the radar. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated...

OLLLLLLLLY!

I'll look into, Jared! (This is Big Ken from WA). Either way, I really hope we can get PFA in Oly. That would be greatness.

Ken Wisdom, Back on the scene!! NICE. One of the best shows of my life was a 15 minute set during a packed ass Sage Francis show at some Theater/showspace downtown Oly. It was 2004, and I think Evergreen U related? Compost put that show on. I only did 3 pieces- ABC's, Winter in New England, and Sermon, but the place went bonkers. I got mobbed at the merch booth and ended up talking with crazy Oly radicals till all hours of the night.

My love for the Northwest started right then, and we haven't looked back since! Co-ops, fair trade coffee, vegan options, and recycling bins all common place? Nutritional yeast right on the table at restaurants? Protest and direct action minded citizens all over the place? Awesome gals who think it's cool to be short, and loud with crooked teeth?! WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE!!

I wouldn't mind touring from Vancouver down to Santa Cruz and back up 3 times a year at all.

I'll never forget the house show in Portland (OR) this past August. 70ish people packed into a little living room. It was so hot, I thought I was going to pass out. Mic stands getting knocked over, a pit starting up even though nobody could really move, Aquifer jumping around and singing along right up in front...glorious!

But yeah, we'll play anywhere.

Capitol Theater, Jared. I was there, great times for sure. I loved my time in Oly. I talked to Compost last week, I'll let him know you're looking to secure a gig in his town.

Only a little over two months left to go until tour!

A bunch of the dates have been confirmed and will be announced soon. The rest are rapidly being filled in.

Cali, here we come.
