I had a great time at the show. Sage's set was dope. I hadn't heard makeshift patriot live in awhile. I was at soundset and the chicago rock the bells show and the half hour set is just a tease. They had the wrong times posted so everything was an hour off. Luckily, i went over to the stage to check out MOP and Sage was playing or i would have been pissed.

Overall the highlight for me were of course Mr. Francis, The Roots, Nas, Busta Rhymes (especially when MOP came out for Ante Up), Big Boi, Talib Kweli, and i was introduced to K'naan who i enjoyed.

It was the second best concert i was ever at, the first being this year's soundset

RTB Boston was great. Sages set was killer. I came with a lot of people, but only one agreed to acompany me to see Sage. Needless to say, Sage has a new fan lol. He was blown away by the set and loved the antics they were puttin on on stage. I have a lot of great pictures from the show, ill have to up them when I get home.

Oh! Highlight (and most confusing statement of the day) was when I was asked someone who was with my friends if he liked Sage. He responded with "I dont like white people with big words."

Not the best set up for the side stage. And placing us between M.O.P. and Slaughterhouse in their home city...priceless. It was out in a parking lot. I didn't catch the KRS set, but someone emailed me and said he made the DJ turn off South Bronx instrumental because the "crowd doesn't deserve it." I can't imagine what the crowd was like for him to say that. Or maybe he's just tired of performing that song? Tough call. Every other show the people have gone wild when that beat comes on.

Hmm strange. Yeah, I remember from last year how they had the second stage. Only checked out Murs and went to the main stage. Not particularly a fan of that venue though I do like how it's right on the water.

For real!

I was gooooing to suggest bringing a few bee's nests on stage for House of Bee's... that would definitely add some new moves to B's arsenal.

KRS told the DJ to cut "South Bronx" because the crowd was so wack it was unbearable. That crowd did not deserve it.

I don't know if it's New York specific, or the hip hop world in general, but the New York RTB depressed the shit out of me.

I'm going to move to Canada and listen to smooth jazz records all day or something.

That being said, Sage and B. came out with a chip on their shoulder and killed it. MOP also came out to "Cold as Ice" which fucking ruled.
