Not fair. That song was very fun. I like having fun and listening to "that old Innercity Griots" and playing poker. Plus GoG was especially good.

Though, as far as videos in which indie hip hop stars are playing Hold 'Em go, this one is not my favorite.

Legends were always kind of hit-or-miss with me. Scarub, Grouch and Eligh, and 3MG are probably my favorites from the crew, but the others had their bright spots as well. It's not world-changing music, or anything, but it's fun. I seem to be the only person I know who considers himself a pretty big fan of Scarub. Never understood why he doesn't get more love. Heh.

as a whole, the ll crew has/is/will always be
a f*ckin joke. although yes, as you said, the 3mg
with the exception of murs, the biggest jester
of them all, eligh & scarub has their moments

especially scarub. chalk benjy up as a listener

CMA sucked ass. For me the best Living Legend's release period will always be Fuck The Dumb. I've been waiting on Grouch for years to prove me wrong, and most releases he barely gets close.

EDIT: I find myself agreeing with Trav twice in a row now (!). Lucky I Am's solo disc wasn't too bad.

I mean really. If we're talking "West Coast Underground Rap Collectives That Peaked In The Mid/Late '90s" it looks something like this:

1. Project Blowed/Good Life
2. Quannum MCs
3. Hiero
4. Legends/Log Cabin
5. Likwit Crew

That's how it is.

i thought grouches last solo effort was a real step forward for him. tight production that knocked, , thoughtful lyrics, catchy songs.. probably one of my top 3 hiphop albums from last year.

this album on the other hand is sounding more of what you'd expect from a 2009 legends album. production is ehhh i've never been into eligh much

benjy seconds this list - except no.4, since
log cabin should be considered a separate
entity from the LL's (lackluster lyricists)

why is this a sticky?

living legends suck.

only reason i liked murs was for 9th wonders production.

other than that he sucks.

lucky.i.am? i like him.

PSC is definitely cool. I think I've seen him more than anyone in the Legends over the past few years. We do a lot of shows together and he's always really nice. There are two things I've learned about him.
*He likes brand new colorful clothing and he coordinates his attire very well.
*He has a major weakness for da ladiez and with that weakness comes some soap opera moments at shows.
