B. Dolan & Jared Paul TOUR (6 dates added in April!)  Reply with quote

Below is a list of performances and workshops "The Direct Democracy Tour"
Jared Paul & B. Dolan

Many of these shows will be intimate, spoken word type affairs, with poems and songs being performed in a different format than usual, and lots of room for things like audience Q&A, experimental & new pieces, and... you know... mind sex.

The workshops presented may be open to the public in some cases (check with the university for more info). Jared & B will be talking in the workshops about their varied personal experiences with social justice work, and providing workshop participants with feedback on how to create dialogue and strengthen their own community efforts.

I thought JP had the Sacramento hook-up for some reason. I was almost sure you guys would be here. Oh well, I'm still gonna be at the Reno show, grimy casino hands and all.

The corporate jet is gonna be booked for awhile then I guess.

Are you guys going to film any of the University workshops and question periods? Look what An Evening with Kevin Smith turned into. But selfishly, I'd love to see some of this.

I am assuming each college or university is unique, but are the shows open to non-students? If not, are you smuggling in non-student fans?

The interns for the local U. took off for the winter when this was being booked. They're back now, but it looks like 3/25 in Ohio is probably too much of a drive from the night before. Too bad, this would have been fun.

Now way Frank! We worked it out so they're just about all open to the public.

Organize, for sure man! Come hang out. The set we've got worked out is pretty intense; I was actually surprised by how well it went over at Amherst. B. is on fire as well, it's so fucked up because half the time I just want to sit down and watch him go. But it makes for a crazy energy with he and I back and forth, and we've layered the pieces in a way that rises and falls, and sort of forms it's own story, like a two person theater presentation.

We'd love to see any of yall on these shows. More than love, actually, we're requesting it!! Come on- HAND THE EFF OUT!!

*Daesu come on out!
*My man Tom Ball is working on Sacramento as we speak...
*UCSD is "The Loft"

And Mean! Please hit me up ASAP. The 25th is actually up in the air right now... Columbus would be a lot easier than Cleveland: JaredPaul1@gmail.com

Hey - you guys gonna be anywhere near Chicago on 4/26? There's a good possibility that I'm setting up a show there at The Heaven Gallery and it might be fun to have you guys come through if you're on your way home from the 4/22 show around that time.

Hit me up on the geeeeeeeeeemail if you're into the idea:
