wow!
i'd recommend this album to anyone. it's really great stuff... kind of hard to nail down because it's all over the map, but it's all over the map in a good way. (actually, it's all over the map in a special way.) brilliant song writing.
this is the type of thing that moves me and makes me want to work harder at what i do.

i do wish that i had liner notes to tell me who all of the other musicians are besides shane and buddy and where it was recorded and mixed etc. (it has a really great sound to it.) i don't regret buying the download version though... it was just what i needed tonight.
A+

Well, I'm sure Shane can fill in the blanks but almost everything on the album was played by him. And recorded at his house. A little help from friends here and there, but the bulk of it was all him.

Thank you all for the kind words. :)

I do believe that the music is similar in spirit to the SFR material than it is disparate in aesthetic, and I really appreciate Sage's graciousness in selling the CD through his site. I'm looking forward to meeting some of y'all on the road in April!

Dream Inspired - I'm more than happy to answer any other questions that the liner notes below don't clear up for ya. Actually, in addedum to the notes, I did the production, engineering and synth work on everything except "Summertime". For some reason I didn't think that was worth mentioning in the liner notes....I blame the length of the average day.

------------

1. Hard To Notice

I don't have the album, but if the clip of the week song is any indication I will be making a purchase shortly. This is really good!

I think your best bet is to email customerservice@strangefamousrecords.com from the address you used in the checkout process. They'll probably shoot you back a download link.

This was the correct answer. Thanks, redball.

Thanks also to the SFR crew, Storm Davis specifically, for a super quick response time with my solution.
