IBS is a serious issue man..

and i'll take your word on the legalities of the situation because i know you're much better versed in Texas law after the deer jerky sting

MP3D don't play him like that. Clever of you to use his preexisting sensitive bowel against him...but we all saw that bottle of eye drops curiously close to his Hot Toddy mug. Lets be honest, poop is not the real issue here.

I know I'll be booking a plane ticket to either this, or the SFR basement show.

Any hints as to which one I should lean towards?

I'll be there for sure! For you SXSW newbs, without a wristband, get to the shows you want to go to EARLY. If not you won't get in. They normally let quite a few people in paying cash but will not let it get near capacity in order to "save" spots for potential wristband wearers.

I just poked around on their site and I don't know how to find artists or artist pages.

it's under SCHEDULE then BANDS and in alphabetic order, but here's the link straight to it:

... and now that i think of it, i have seen that picture a long time ago. I just assumed the artist submitted the pictures so thought it was an odd choice, haha.

The line-up for this is amazing. Too bad I lack the funds to make it all the way to Texas. But... March 21st is still kind of (not really, though) far away. Maybe I'll win the lottery.

try TOO many to mention....seriously. its insane!

im not getting a wristband this year. but if you're coming in from outta town you NEED to. im gonna try my luck at a few of the official shows and spend the rest of the time at the free shows.

im still would like to posse up and grab a beer with fellow SFF'ers!

not necessarily true... obvious a wristband is prime and going to be the best time but also super expensive ESPECIALLY if you don't live here... however ALMOST every band that plays ends up playing free shows at least once if not more at the non official "parties".

For example i Doomtree 3 times last year and skipped the official show
