Who are all of these people of whom you are speaking of???
^sorry, but that is the question that the average teen is now asking, which is sad...
Anyway, although a seamingly meaningless topic which is really meaningful, Neil Young is awesome. :)

The Band!
--fucking awesome, quite possibly the most underated band ever (while they are in the R&R Hall of Fame, they are still unknown to virtually all)....Robbie Robertson is one of the best songwriters ever, sitting up there next to Dylan....
Niel Young is great. Never has there been a combination of a poor to average guitarist and unbelievable to godlike songwriter in the history of Rock...If you disagree with the fact that he sucked at guitar, check out "Southern Man"...he has a solo that is like one "E" note for 18 licks, thats it...its crap, but its got Young's lyrics, so its great too!
Speaking of Neil Youn and the Band, anyone ever see "The Last Waltz"?...Neil Young plays "Helpless" when he sits in for a song. Yeah, so apparently N.Y. has no recollection of that performance. He was at the end of a 50 hour coke bindge. He went up there and he basically had a coke mustache. Scorcesie (sp?) who directed The Last Waltz really wanted to keep it in, you know to show whats real in R&R, but Young's record label forced them to digitally edit the coke mustache out of the clips if they wanted to have it in the final pressing of the movie.
I'm sure Niel Young was passed out for a couple weeks, so he had no clue that the movie was being made.

I once performed "Ohio" by myself with a guitar for my 11th grade english class. I was nervous.
Get the vhs or dvd of "Rust Never Sleeps" by Neil Young and Crazy Horse. You will shit yourself its so good. If it wasnt for sugar mountain i wouldnt even like music. I've seen him live about 3 times, awesome.
