There isn't much written about this album anywhere online so Sage did a write up which appears on the album's product page:

this album is sosososososo SO fucking good you guys.

im serious. dont sleep.

mine arrived in the mail on saturday, and i swear to god i have not listened to anything else in that time. this is probably like my 20th full run-thru. not a single skippable track.

i kind of want to stop listening because im afraid i will burn myself out on it, but i cant because it's THAT good.

"boxcar diaries" is my favorite track at the moment.

Wow, what a candid write up. I can't wait for the album, it is on the way.

That part about Cecil Otter walking onto the floor makes a lot of sense to me. When i saw Doomtree every time he moved to the front of the stage it was more like he was trying to talk to the crowd, not rap. It was a contrast to everyone else on stage, but it worked.

Now i really can't wait for the album.

I personally wasn't a huge fan when i purchased Cecil's "False Hopes"... I didn't think it was horrible, just didn't grab me. Then I watched Doomtree perform as a collective during SXSW this year and Cecil really stuck out to me. I loved his casual flow and the music was better than what i had remembered. I've listened to the songs from Rebel Yellow that have been posted on various sites and LOVE everyone i've heard so far. Very much looking forward to picking this up. I just haven't ordered it yet because for some reason i figured Waterloo Records in Austin of all places would have it but unfortunately they don't. They should, great record shop that sells lots of independent hip hop. Guess i'll be ordering it this week...

There's zero distribution for it.

I got it through Doomtree direct. Wish I could have had more of a helping hand in its release.
