I'm sitting here drinking a Landshark lager and I started thinking about my favorite brews.
1) Guiness. It's so filling, and so incredibly delicious. The only beer acceptable to make a black and tan with. If you're from Michigan, you may have enjoyed a black and blue, which is Guinness with Blue Moon (beer, not the ice cream).
2) Yuengling. Sadly, I haven't found it sold anymore in the state of Michigan, but I try to drink as much of it as possible when I'm out East.
3) Kirin Ichiban. I tried this once at an Old Chicago Pizza place, and I was hooked. Thankfully I can snag it at my local World Market.
4) Sierra Nevada Big Foot Ale. Technically it's a barley wine, but I love it. This is strictly for the fan of very potent taste. It's incredibly hoppy, and kicks at 9.6% alcohol by volume. Go out and find some.

1) Love the taste. It also sells for .25 cents at a local wine shop near my school.
2) Love the taste. It's from my home state, however it is quite expensive. It can be found on tap at Kramer Books in Dupont Circle.
3) Love the taste and it is cheap. And it is what I can usually afford.
And as already posted, Guinness.
I wish I had better reasons, but I shall learn one day.

I'm not really a beer person, but the Yuengling I really like. Otherwise put a bottle of beer in my hand and it will take me an hour to drink 3/4s of it. |

Asterax, really? That beer is only a quarter? I feel like the bottle would cost at least that. And PBR? So bad it's good.
I'll second the Arrogant Bastard, and I'll add the Fat Bastard bear from Silverdale, Washington, my old stomping grounds. So good. |

1. Because the taste is a tinge sweeter than Guinness. Great coloring and cascading.
2. Wonderfully brewed beer, high in alc. and it doesn't effect the taste at all. A must try beer if you can find it. As are the Lagunitas Zappa series beers.
3. My uncle was an artist for this brewery for many years, so I have a lot of thier propaganda, and it is a great warm weather beer. |

Wait... was it .25 cents or .75? Hmmm... I cannot say for certain. I will definitely check when I get back there, but it is less than a dollar.
This is the ONE advantage of going to school in an area that I could never afford to live in myself! The rich don't drink anything BUT wine. The Magic Hats are for sale, as singles, on the floor of the wine store, among fifty other types of beer. Most of the brands are shitty, however it is (probably) .75 for a single and 4 dollars for a six pack. The beers are warm.
Yeah, I used to think pib-ah was brewed in New England, but it is a Texas beer. |

How you gonna put Landshark and Guinness in the same sentence as Big Foot? Big Foot is a true beer. Guinness is ok. Not a lot of alcohol and sorta lame. Anyways, here's my snobbery:
